Xbox Sits At Black Screen Until I Hit The Eject Button Then Loads Soft

Not sure why this is happening. I used the Splinter Cell method. It boots up fine after hitting the eject button and closing it right after (most of the time). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We got this taken care of.  Turns out the power supply I was using to power the second drive during the HDD swap just wasn't cutting it.

After putting the drive into the XBox and turning it on everything works fine.
