Once I've flashed, installed my modchip and I boot and make sure the bios is working and all, whats the next step to do? I want to put a larger HD in in place of my old one anyone want to point me in the right direction ?

you've flashed your modchip and you know it is working correctly? Wait what modchip? If your using X-ecuter2 Lite, which i hope you are, you need to make a boot disc...You also need a FTP client, FlashFXP. Where are you at so far?

The easiest thing is to boot off Slayers Auto-Install CD ver 2.1 and let it go to town. When it is done, you will have Evox installed as well as all the utilities you will ever need.

I am not sure what you mean by without older files, but it will prepare a brand new drive with everything you need. Just add games.
