X Box Modification

all i want to do is chage the color of the start up of the xbox and the menu screen of the xbox.  How and what do i need to do this?

I believe you can only change the colors of the startup X logo.  This can be done with any modchip that you can flash to, using either a pre-colored bios or xbtool to make the color scheme of your choice.  I would think that changing the color scheme of the menus would require using a different dashboard than the MS one, and then using or making a skin that was to your liking.
