Flashing Accident
« on: December 22, 2005, 02:42:00 PM »

I have an xbox which i just chipped and I used the flashing guide on this website to load flash. All seemed to go OK and I got the progress bar up and xbox shut down when complete. However, when I restarted, the boot up is all wrong. It powers on and off a few times and then the LED flashes red. Theres nothing on screen and the only way i can get back to normal is to switch off the chip.

Is there a way to start again or have I buggered the chip now?!!

What chip? You may be able to hotswap the chip to get the flash back. Find a friend with the same type of chip, use it in your box and boot to the flashing screen. Then swap the chips and reflash the bad one.

And don't make more than one of the same topic. I posted in your other one. A moderator is probably going to merge these two together soon.

Did you try to make the X2-5035 a 256k bios?
