see your point, i still think tehre is a difference between modchip and cable descrambler, as i pointed out there is a legal use for a modchip,
is there a legal use for cable equipment? personally i dont know anything about cable, lol
I understand where you are coming from also and I have the exact same attitude as you do but unfortunately the judge may beg to differ.
Our little debate made me go back and read over article. The mod tech got the
largest sentences in jail and probation.
And the article states install of mod warrants a DMCA violation. And selling HDDs
with games is copywright infingrement. Two seperate acts with two seperate charges. It is something to think about that felony charge aint no joke.

The Pandora's Cube employees modified MS Xbox video game consoles, in violation of the DMCA, and turned them into what Pandora's Cube called "Super Xboxes." These "Super Xboxes" were designed solely to defeat the Xbox's copyright protection system and permit the user to avoid purchasing and paying for legitimate Xbox video games. The Pandora's Cube employees also loaded illegal copies of video games onto the hard drives of the Super Xboxes, in violation of federal copyright law.
