What im working with
-v1.6 xbox
-Xenium S.P.ice
-40 WD hd
-Phillips DVD drive (in the xbox)
I have the M8+ bios on my xbox but when i try and boot into it the screen goes black and the xbox shuts down, then boots itself back up and into my chip menu

Someone correct me if im wrong but isnt the M8+ for the 1.6b boxes? I beleive you just needed to use the M8 bios thats made for 1.6, not the + version.
Again, its been a while scince I've done a 1.6 box, so I could be wrong.

Well Im not trying to be a jerk but the problem i am having is its not even booting into the retail kernel, it wont boot into jack$ht. It does the same thing when i try and boot into the retail kernel.

It wont boot with the chip turned off? Soudns like bad soldering

From what the ICE guide says im fragging (leds are flashing red and green) and im getting the call tech support screen, with a 16 up in the left hand corner of the screen.
