If the problem only started after fitting the chips it is probable that either the chips are damaged, faulty or not installed correctly. Are they orientated correctly?

Video Cable as mentioned b4. Maybe electrostatic discharge fried the chips? Or even solder splash. Might wanna check the hardware mod forum.

Just checking, but have you read THIS!

esp. the part about needing a "newer" x2 BIOS (or cromwell)

m8 plus is for a 1.6 so u prob just have m8

But ohwk evox BIOS wont work, thats for sure. BIOS is the problem i figure (ram delimiter shouldn't matter for now, the software doesn't use more then 64 MB but thats ok for now, ofcourse u need the BIOS to properly init and thats the problem I FIGURE)

I gotta admit though, just using common sense, no on-hand experience with RAM upgrades! (although most "real" hardware mods require another BIOS, like VGA output)

Just get the latest x2 BIOS (dun ask me for the exact name, it what i READ, u can read it as well, just follow the link i posted)

m8_plus... hmz weird.. thats a 1.6 BIOS AFAIK!

Pretty sure you need an xecuter BIOS for this to work. dunno how ur gonna flash that on ur chip without a working xbox though...

Again, READ THAT LINK. It should tell you enuff. Oh, and i suggest making your dad read it aswell since it also contains info bout the hardware part.

are you saying with the chip disabled you CAN boot into the regular xbox dash? If you can then it is not a install problem. make sure your bios is the most current and your dashboard files are uptodate, also, make a iso cd with evox or something on it and see if it will boot up the dashboard then.

if your saying you have a blank screen when the chip is on and u turn the xbox on the it is a bios problem.
