1. You can connect the points from the motherboard to the Aladdin (no need to solder the chip into the LPC or rebuild the LPC becuase by connecting  the points from the Aladdin to the new points you are rebuilding the LPC). But its easier to intall a female header pin on the Aladdin chip(if not already on it) and the male header pins on the LPC of the motherboard and then rebuild the LPC from the bottom.

2. For always On it depends on the Aladdin Chip..Regular old Aladdin V32 chips only need the D0 on the motherboard to be grounded, no need for BT or L1,L2. Newer Aladdin chips like XT also need BT on the chip grounded (simply connecting it to Pin 2 will accomplish this)

Also be aware that on 1.6 xboxes if you will install the Aladdin Always On then its better to cut the LFrame signal instead of grounding D0 or if you will be installing the chip with the option of turning it Off/On then  install a resistor to controll current. more informationc an be found here: http://xbox.bula.nu/...install_1.6.asp

Hi Guys i´m just pretty new about it and i also got an Aladdin Advanced XT 4032v actually i´m not sure if it´s an Aladdin Advanced XT 4032V.. this is the best picture i´ve found and this is the same modchip i have: http://www.saveware...._xt_lgWhite.jpg

The Bios chip has the version: 49LF020A and the Lattice chip is an: LC4032V
My console is a V1.6.... MFG. date: October 25 / 2004

I would like to know if this is the procedure i should follow....

1-) Solder Pin header to Mother board according to this info: http://www.project-d.../AladdinXT .jpg (Please check pin header installation part)

2.) Solder this wires according to this info. on the back of the mother board: http://www.project-d.../AladdinXT .jpg (Please check the last part on the bottom left hand side)

3-) Put the modchip on the pin header in the possition shown on the picture number 6 on this file: http://www.stegen.co...xbox_engels.pdf

AFTER THIS I REALLY DON´T KNOW WHAT ELSE I SHOULD DO....
I DON´T KNOW WHAT WIRES I SHOULD SOLD FROM THE CHIP TO THE MAIN BOARD.
I THINK THE STEPS ABOVE ARE CORRECT BUT BEFORE NUMBER 3 I SHOULD SOLD SOME WIRES FROM THE MODCHIP TO THE MAIN BOARD.... CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN IN STEPS HOW TO INSTALL THIS MODCHIP (IF THIS IS THE ALADDIN ADVANCED XT V32 OF COURSE)
