The multicolored wire is for the LED panel and isn't necessary, the USB thing is so you can connect USB devices to your controller port if you want.  The other 2 wires are for if you have a version 1.5 and one is for ground, the other for 3.3V

Did you rebuild the LPC on the back of the motherboard?  Your solder joints look kinda off....are you sure they extend down into the LPC holes?

So you soldered the extra 4-5 wires on the backside...if so then you should be done.  Try booting with the eject button to see if it works.

No...they are not needed....the 2 wire combo is for 1.6 Versions for the blue xenium and the other multicolor wire is for the led module (also shown)  that can be placed in the front of the xbox.

It does seem interesting that you don't need the Alternate 5V point like the X3 does though.

I have installed a few Xeniums and I have never seen one upside down like yours, they print XENIUM on top for a reason. Also your dont need to solder the chip with a pin header install the plug that is on top of your chip just slides onto the pin header. Also the wires on your LPS rebuild dont match any of the TUTs i have.

My apolagies you have done a step you didnt need to, you either do a Pin header or a quick solder you have a mixture of both, once the pin header was done you could have just plugged it in rather than solder, but it should work as is.

Just put the motherboard back in and connect up the power/eject wire and turn it on with the eject button....the OS will load without the DVD/HD hooked up....be sure to unplug the box again when going to put everything back in if it works.  Quicksolder is easier IMO, but you only needed to do one...hopefully its right.

Being a 1.6 the LPC rebuild was needed but with the pin heade install you could have just plugged the chip in.

You need to replace the mother board and power up to test but you can leave the DVD ans HDD out until you see what happens.
