Hi guys,

I'm helping out a friend who lost his hd-pass from his xbox because he installed linux or whatever, the machine was chipped but I dunno which xbox & chip models he owns. Anyway, now the machine can't boot up and he bought a new one, modded it all over again and wants to use the old hdd as a spare mirror in case he trashes it again! I don't own any xboxes so I don't have the experience but from what I've read in xbox-scene you can't unlock a hdd and use it on your pc if you've lost the original pass, so I can't prepare it for him as a mirror for his new xbox, but if there was (is there? will there ever be?) a program that tries out a zillion pass combinations, even if it takes a month, we'd be able to save his old xbox and not use the old hdd as a spare mirror.
