do i need to put the vobs in the xbmp folder to run them if not what do i do

Eh, yes, just put them in the Videos folder you normally use that XBMP points to.

flea there is no video folder to put them in i just looked via ftp there is a video section if i run the program but no way of moving them to it from harddrive i have xbmp 2.3

Ok, read the nfo file for starters that should come with XBMP.
You need to edit your congif.xml file and tell it where your videos are on your HD. Then upload your videos/vob files to whatever that folder as, and they'll show up in the program.

cant find congif file but found a config file but that just does this

Typo, config.xml is the file you want.
You need to open it up in Notepad to edit it.

Well if any one does not beleave my claim this is difficult bear in mind  all I (KNOW IS I HAVE VOBS IN  A NAMED FOLDER IN F PARTION )and i have ajust this for it to know where it is im sure these is not the easyest way to do this

Use this.
This is my entire config file.
Replace it with yours, then if you are using the F drive, simply put all your videos into a Videos folder right on the F drive and your files will appear in the program.
If you have the old drive, simply change anything in the text below that has F: to E:

any that did not do any thing apart from frag when rebooted  the xbox the file i made  was called VIDEOS and i put it in the f drive
