I'm sorry, but what do you mean by "the tutorials might as well be in spanish cause u can never download half the rubbish"?  Is the problem that they're difficult to understand or you can't access them?  Yes there are a few that are difficult to understand if you're new to all this, but there are introduction tutorials that are clearly labeled as such and are a great place to start.

The reason there isn't a be all end all guide to modding your XBox is because there are so many different things involved.  The version of your XBox, the mod chip you're using, the bios you're going to use, the dashboard, if you're going to install a hard drive and what kind/how big, whether or not you want to use XBox Live, etc.  That's why there's so many tutorials.  If you take the time to read them thoroughly (some of the stuff can be pretty complicated), do pretty extensive research on the jargin, software, and tools involved, you shouldn't have much of a problem.

When I modded my XBox I read nearly every tutorial there was before I even opened my XBox.  I researched every single bit of software I'd need and might not need and where/how to get them.  Yes, once I started doing the work I did have come across some things I had trouble finding, but the search tool (both hear and on google) helped me out.  As long as you're patient and take the time learn about what's going on it's not that hard.  This isn't the type of thing you can just pop open your XBox, put on a chip, run an install file, and you're good to go without actually understanding what you just did.

Here's a good place to start:

http://forums.xbox-s...php?act=SF&f=23
http://xbox-scene.com/modchips.php
http://xbox-scene.co...icles/open1.php

http://forums.xbox-s...T&f=18&t=105495
http://xbox-scene.co...ticles/leds.php
http://xbox-scene.co...icles/xbins.php

That's I can really give you without knowing any specifics on what you want to do.  It's not everything, but it should help you start to understand what's going on.  And don't be afraid to use the search tool (here and google), because it's 99% likely that you're question has already been answered.
