How To Fix Your Fcc Ribbon Cable

Ok, so you were brutal with your FCC ribbon cable for the xecuter 2, and it ripped   mad.gif

Well, mine ripped right at that damn blue part from bending and bending.

This is how i fixied it. (actually it seems a bit funny)

First cut a clean line, on the end that ripped. Make sure it's even.

Second go outside and put your finger on the end that you want to strip.

third rub that end CAREFULLY against the sidewalk, so it just strips the end that you want (and make sure you strip the correct side)

lastly. tape the back up a couple of times so it a bit thicker than the regular cable (this is so it will hold when you place it back in the programmer)

Double check and make sure that all the wires on the end are visible, and there is no plastic still covering it.  (at this point it shouls closely resemble how it origianally looked with the blue backing)

In the end, you either do it this way, or pay $17 dollars for a new cable..

(and i am sure a file can be used instead of the sidewalk, but i just didn't have one.)
