Lock A Hdd To A Different Eeprom?

I've got a v1.0 box with a Xenium ICE.  I have a v1.6 box with a now unlocked, yet working HDD, which is softmodded, and therefore will not boot.  I have the eeprom backup.  Can I lock this drive in my chipped box to get it to work in the v1.6 box using the Xenium OS v2.3.1?

yes. just pop it in. either lock or be on the safe side and keep it unlocked just incase your mobo has a fit. then you will still have a working drive and can be used in another xbox or PC.
