I'm not sure if this would be the right place to ask this so forgive me if it is not. I have a Xenium ICE chip in my 1.0 Xbox with a WD 80gig hard drive and I am currently using the Pre-release 2.0 os.
My issue is that recently I have been having problems where my games just freeze or the Xbox shuts down suddenly. When I turn the Xbox on the led flashes green and red and nothing is displayed. If I leave the system off for a while then it works again for awhile but eventually it happens again.
I think it might be that my system is overheating, but I am also using the 12v fan mod and my cpu and m/b temperatures are pretty good so I am thinking it might be the hard drive. Unfortunately I can't check the temp on my hard drive (it just says NA).
Any ideas what is happening? Is it the chip? The OS? Hard drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
