I think your time is not set properly

are you using the os2 beta (red background)?

you should upgrade to the os2 beta 2 (blue background)

for you to be able to fix your problem now, unplug your xbox for about 3 hours.  This should allow you to go to the retail kernel, and set the time.  This is how i fixed my box when it happened to me.  Upgrade to the new one when you get everything straightened out.  I don't know if there's a better way.
