it will be more than worth the wait as ozxodus is the best chip manu. of course just like the last update it will not be released on really any given date... its done when its done and then released when they feel like it... never count on the time but more than always count on the team...

I'd be nice if XOS let us change the flubber animation like the X3 video. Even better if we could replace the flubber with a logo or a word like Xbox-Scene or Linux.

Agree with the above post imo Xenium is better than smartxxx my friend has a smartxxx and im glad i went the Xenium way. True the Dev. team might take their time on the OS updates but hey I would rather them do that than release 200 bug fix updates like smartxxx. People get excited with new modchips they cant wait to get the newest and install it, i think the 4th gen. OS update just replaced that, lmao.

How about full Samba Network Drive Support.
Ability to connect to Network Drives through the X-OS.
that way you could run your games via a network drive.
Read/Write to Logical F : Drive on your PC Network
Oh Yea that would be way cool!!

it's obviously bios compression, and bios uncompression on bootup.

marksu, that was the exact same thing I was thinking it was and had just posted that thought in another thread. I know that that would be possible, as the OS can basically do that right now, except you have to manually flash the Bios from the harddrive, then tell it to boot, if they but if they did something like that it would be doing it automatically.
I think there is more to it than that though, possibly something along the lines of what khg said, but I have no clue.

1) Ability to edit the BIOS through the Xenium OS (X Logo colors, eject LED mod, etc.) like deathbunny said.
That would be excellent to integrate into the OS. The X3 Live Config, as we have seen, does this... no reason Xenium can't.
