Xecuter 2, Anyone Can Tell Me How I Can Boot From Cd ?

Hi,

I just installed a new hdd in my xbox.
Im trying now to boot from slayer's cd to install all the software, but it won't boot from it.
Anyone can tell what i have to do to boot from cd ?

My modship is a xecuter 2

It's probably the way you're burning the media and on what kind of disk and not the chip itself.

try AID.  Ive used both slayers and aid and have had no problems with AID.  cant say the same for slayers though.  plus its got more and better programs.

So, i don't have to configure somthing like changing the dipswitches to boot from cd ?

No.  The switches only control whether the modchip is enabled or not, which BIOS to use and if the BIOS is write-protected.

FYI - I used Slayer's to setup my Xbox after installing a new HD.  If you're having problems it's probably the media you're using (use a good brand DVD-R) and/or the burning speed you used (burn it as slow as possible).
