There is one wire in those diagrams that you DON'T need.  I'm not sure if you can damage the chip by wiring it, but I know it isn't needed for the x2's.  It's the 3.3v line.

No, you MUST rebuild the lpc with ANY chip on a 1.6.  There is no solderless solution and never will be on a 1.6.

can someone help i have bought the xecuter 2.6 with xapter (solderless) and the xaptor only has 11 pin holes and the xecuter 2.6 has 15. can someone tell me how to put the chip in.
also i have tried to used the bios cd from the 2.3b lite but i continue to get a load bios cd, then it says lock hd.
does anyone have any tutorials or any help that would help me

correct DO NOT solder the 3.3v wire

everything else looks fine

Sounds good, I've been waiting to see what an official install of the 2.6 looks like both on <1.6 and on a 1.6.

I installed 2 2.6 chips yesterday One in a v1.6 xbox and one in a v1.4 xbox. For both installs i followed the above diagrams exactly (so i did not remove the 3.3v) it works great. So It doesnt do any harm or damage to your xbox.
