I'm installing an Xecuter 2.3a on 2 different xboxs, a 1.0 and 1.4. I've installed a couple 2.2s sucessfully. I belive i'm having problems with grounding isssues because i'm not geting any led lights on the mod chips. On both xboxs i'm installing them with the wires and not the pin header. With both of them it trys to boot twice then frags out. I've done a couple different things with the ground.
1) score the ground adapter
2) soldered a link between the ground adapter and the ring adapter
3) moved the ground point from the screw nearest to the LPC to the ground point near the USB connector.
4) seperated the two ground points and put them in two seperate places.
5) made sure the ground wires are close to the mobo (i've heard this might solve the problem)
I know my Do point and all of the other LPC points are soldered correctly because i tested them with my multimeter. I've searced far and wide throughout tutorials and previous posts and used all the info that I got from both to try to solve my problem and none have worked so far.
