What is the sram used for exactly? Is it going to make any drastic difference in speed or something? This is a seriouse question as i plan on buying on as soon as they come out.

The point of the sram is like "extra storage" for the xbox. This is used for in memory trainers, apps, etc.
Since trying to load a trainer into memory and load the game, well sometimes its very tight because there isnt enought space. So the memory on the chip is used to hold the application.
