I flashed the bios in bank 6 with the 256k ver X2_4983.67_256k to the first 256k bank. It verified. Then, installed the chip with a flashlight to verify correct D0 install. The little green led lights up. (indicates correct install position, correct)? But, when I try to boot Slayer's (which I burned on a Phillips DVD-R using avi's to bulk up the filesize and created a new ISO with craxation 4, and burned with Nero at lowest speed), I don't see the Xecuter 2 logo under the large green X. I have also tried with CD/RW with just Slayer's on it as well. Why won't it work? What the hell is going on?
p.s. I just bought an Xecuter3 CE with cromwell bios, but I'd still like to get the XBIT chip to work so I can feel that I didn't get ripped off when I bought it.
