I generally don't consider myself a newbie, I've modded 8 xbox's, but I just got a 1.0 xbox with a 1.5 xbit chip, and I'm confused.. I'm having the same problem; I can't find the correct d0 spot.

Would you mind posting how you were able to find it?

Ok...You need a very bright light to be able to see the pin thats supposed to go into D0 and forget about the other pins just concentrate on D0...
just keep watching as you push the mod-chip...
Because of the screw you wont have many options you may get confused between 2 point (thats what happened with me) so try both of them..

I don't know I think the 1.5 chips are jacked, and the 1.5 software is shit.
