Help On X.b.i.t Installation

buy a desoldering braid and put it on the solder take a soldering iron and hear the braid up the solder will coem right up without harming the board u will than have holes than take the ship alighn it up and push down on it take the screw and screw it down while holding it it will sumhow lock in place and stay down the way you pushed on it!

You probably got an V1.0 Xbox.  I got this one and the lpc holes are filled and there was no problem with the installation.  The pogo pins use springs so they'll adjust to the LPC no problem. I bought my Xbit  the first week it came out and never have trouble since.

I had the same issue with my xbox v1.0. I did not remove the solder, I just placed the chip in the correct location and screwed it down. All you have to do is make sure that you line up the pins with the holes, or where the holes should be anyway.
