Hi guys,

I can't get the xecuter bios to load on my XBIT chip (still get MS under the logo rather than xecuter).  The green LED on the outer chip thing isn't coming on, does this mean the chip isn't placed correctly on the motherboard?  Should it light up even if the chip wasn't flashed at all/incorrectly?

Also, when I format and write a bios using the XBIT software from the site, it writes and verifies correctly.  But when I disconnect and reconnect it always goes into bank 6, even though I've formatted as a different bank.  I know there's another thread about this problem but there was never an answer to the question.  Can anyone tell me what's going on?  Any help would be really appreciated, I've had this chip over a week and can't get it to work.
