Poor Packaging
« on: April 26, 2004, 12:27:00 PM »

I just received my XBit from the Fed Ex and I must comment on the poor packaging. It was sent in a large padded envelope with no other means of protection. The pins were actually poking through the anti static bag and the plastic bag. It would not suprise me if the chip is non functional as it could very easily have been severely damaged in it 1400 mile journey to me.

I will examine the pins closely under magnification and see if any are bent or if the chip is otherwise damaged.

I was not blaming FedEx, I bought it from Divineo. It flashes ok so I hope it will work when I install it.

In spite of the poor packaging, the chip installed and works great.
