Has anyone able to install the XBIT using the pogo method on a version 1.0 xbox without unsolder the LPC holes?

I have a v1.0 which I successfully installed (pogopin) without unsoldering the LPC points.  The only problem is that unless you do unsolder the LPC points, you will have to screw the chip in extra tight (don't break anything tho!) and will occasionally give the box a "love tap" to get the chip reseated.  This is only the case if you move the box around a lot (like me).  If you leave it stationary all the time, you should have none of the problems mentioned above.

Good luck, the X-BIT is an excellent chip!
