now let me get this straight, they will have a patch out by mon 13th 2003 (which month?)
AND we have to send our chip back, or are they saying there are two problems??

and most people are having problems with nvidia nforce2 chipsets, is that the same as nec???

Hmm, am keeping an eye on this, considering buying an Xbit, but I've got an nForce2 board.

The ironic thing is that the Xbox uses a version of the original nForce board

arakon says he has had success by using a cheap usb2 card in his nforce2 compy!

i would have thought that newer xbits wont have the compatability probs though so i wouldnt worry!

a basic 5 port USB 2.0 card with ALI chipset worked for me.

I have 2.0 USB ports in my cpu and the program still locks up

hft boy what kind and make of mobo do you have ?
And "getting a pci expansion card is the way to go" because it wouldnt be controlled by the chipset, it would just pass the info along to the mobo...

I just finally got my email from divinco saying that dms didnt even release the "new boards" yet. So even if we would send back they dont have the solution yet .
By the way how much for a pci usb controller card ?
Everything im seeing is like 30 to 40 bux....
I looked on ebay and found one for 15 so i got that coming , guess ill have to clean out puter.
