Ok heres my problem. I have V1.1 Xbox with a chameleon chip installed,and wd 15.5 gig hdd unlocked.
I have everything working correctly, but being able to disable the modchip for xblive. Heres my problem
I added the lines to the ini file. ,and when I goto disable the chip in mode 1 it goes to my xbox needs service screen.Ok is this because my hdd is not locked? Or do I have to have the chip in another mode?
Everything else I've done works fine but this. Any help will be appreciated

Thanx  xodus you finally came throught, but now the locking part has kind of confused.
What is the simplest way to do this. I've seen tutorials but there are like fifteen diff. ways to do it.

will tell u if your hd can be locked and will lock it aswell if it can be

Ok I have the config magic installed locked the hdd.
My ? is now do I have to change  the password
or record of the oem hdd to the new hdd for  boot tsop
with evox and the appended lines to the ini file
or maybe one of the lines is messed up. in the ini file anwho please help this modding stuff has me going bonkers

i have this same problem, lastest evox, locked hdd, all the chameleon menu items are in red still

Take a look at this ini file see if you think its ok? I've been trying to boot my tsop on the chameleon but no luck. V1.0 15.5 Wd hdd chameleon evox build 3921.please let me know if you see any errors also my hdd is locked
