What Is Wrong Here

i have a solid green light on the matrix chip i assume then its aligned properly i cut the sst lines and reinstalled it then pushed the chameleon on to it  i turn on the xbox and it goes to green x then to the memory settings menu screen no chameleon comes up do i have to attach any wires if i dont use mode 4? do i still have to hook up p and or e and or do and or a 15?

Hmm i have gone over and over the instructions the DO and A 15 are not used when added on to matrix it seems, and E and P are used for mode 4 operation only so does anyone know if it has to have any wires soldered in to work? or is there another problem? it just boots up as if there was no chip.
