i'm having the same problem
i can erase the bios and everything but when i try to program it
it gives me an error
u think it might be the OS?
am running XP proffesional

Hmmm, I didn't need to install this file.

Other things to check:

Make sure programmer is ALL the way in the LPT (Printer) port.
Make sure you are NOT using a cable... plug it directly into the LPT port.
Make sure the chip is firmly seated in the programmer (some people reported that they had to press the chip and the programmer together during the flashing process, although I did not have to do this).
