I was unable to find any threads (via google search since x-s search is temporarily shut off) containg the resistor size (ohm rating) that should be used when grounding Lframe in a 1.6 box. I sold my 1.0 to a friend but would like to ground Lframe in my 1.6 so that I can still hotswap chips in it.

i think it was in a cheapmod tut thread that showed cutting the Lframe trace

680ohms..or cut the Lframe track and use no resistor..chips will always be on though

thx,.. will it be hotswappable with Lframe cut? (i already nuked the topside Lframe, so that is done

)

btw just found it over in the hardware section1.6 life expectancy

Yeah actually fro hotswapping is easier to just cut the top lframe..Here is a link that works: http://xbox.bula.nu/resistor_install_1.6.asp
