Well I had an idea, I have about 5 mods going on right now but I have stopped them all to make this. I wanted a 360 now so I decided I am gonna make one, and clear at that. I already cut the acrylic, molecular bonded all sides, and dremeled it out. I will have this one done soon but here it is so far after 3 days work: Hope you like it!!

cool.. but begs the question:

is this for a regular xbox, to make it look like a 360?

or are you building this for a 360 and hoping you can cram everything inside it once you get one?

either way, i dig the "inward breath" ..

I am making it to the specs of a actual 360 case, I am putting a modded xbox (regular one) in it. I am still making the hard drive mounted on top and removable though. I have a fake xbox 360 dashboard to run on the box..

Isn't that a little big for an XBOX 360? Are you going by the size specs M$ released?

Yup and no its not to big at all. It only looks like it sorta because the sides are not rounded in yet.

are the cuts kinda rough, or is that just the picture quality?

ohh there actually not bad at all I just need to sand them smooth and such, but they came out pretty good

When you cut acylic all the particles from the cut get very hot and a cause it to look real coarse. But a little fine grit paper and a heat gun will make it shine crystal clear!!

I want to get it fully cut out today I just am waiting on my cordless dremel to recharge.
And you know the little door where the usbs are? Well thats where I will have controller ports. I am also going to add a split function so I can have my logitech wireless controller receivers inside the case. I have everything I need to get this one done and ready today.

Yeah I have a template once Im done I may post it up. Not sure yet. I just think having the two (360 and regular xbox) in the same type of case side by side will look sharp?
