Merged an identical thread by Shalone.  There's already too many DVD DL burning threads here.

This is the only real game I want to burn onto a Dual layered disc, because I am getting sick of switching discs all the time. And I am sure the only real working copy to this is on 2 DVD's isn't it ?

So can anyone help me with this and if you know how to get the Xbox to play a Dual layered DVD, please let me know.

Btw, I have a Samsung DVD rom and I have a Pioneer 108 burner, if this matters, thanks.

Just for the record folks, I did burn a working D/L backup of Jade Empire and it works without a hitch on my XBOX Samsung DVD-ROM drive.

Here is what I used:

Qwix to patch and convert the files to ISO
Latest version of DVD Decrypter to burn the ISO file in ISO mode.
Pioneer 109 with version 1.40 firmware
2.4x Verbatim D/L DVD+R burned at 6x (yup, works great even when burned at 6x)

It should be noted that the Pioneer 109 with the V1.40 firmware automatically sets the booktype to DVD-ROM on D/L discs.  Setting the booktype to DVD-ROM is crucial especially for XBOX Samsung DVD-ROM drives.

I gotta get me one of those.  My Thomson has started having trouble reading original games.  sad.gif

I just wanted to say thankyou very much Jesterrace. I followed exactly what you said, used the same media, only thing different I used was I used a Pioneer 108 burner. Otherwise I followed to your instructions to a tee. And both Jade Empire and Ralli Sport 2 seem to work perfect and load just as good as the Originals.

So thanks very much.
