Could someone give me the steps to getting the xbox hard drive to work im my pc. I have heard that somehting has to be done to it. I know how to physically put the hard drive in. But after that i have no clue.

Just make sure you unlock it before putting it in yr PC - so many people forget and then wonder what is wrong.
Then you can format it as per any new unformatted hard drive.
