How did you burn it exactly?

(GDFimage, xIso, Nero 5.5.10.0, etc..)

or does it? i transfered a BRAND NEW COPY of doaxbv to my hard drive and it periodically crashes. most of the time its when a now loading screen is about to come up or someone is about to say something.

anti piracy mechanisms in the game screwing with us? i dont see how....?

I tried burning this game in UDF, does not load. (or takes forever)
GDFed the files and works like a charm.

I used Ritek gold top media. Pioneer A03 with PrimoDVD, UDF method. X-Box with Evox mod chip. Game boots just fine and plays just fine.

ftp to folder: 4.04 GB (4,349,391,228 bytes), 29 files 2 folders.

do you have a memory card plugged into any controller, i has same prob until i took mine out. Now it plays perfect.

well, forget my previous post, the problem has comeback. I get the game to work somedays and somedays it wont. I get warning screen then just blank screen. I am assuming this is a PX issue. Only because I have heard of people with this same problems with the PX release, but others who backup there own disc have no probs. Anyone come up with a solution to this or is the problem so rare most dont have this problem.

i had no problems using boXplorer to the hdd. yet i had a friend who said a music file was corrupt after transfer.

Sorry to bring this one up, but I got this message too, not from a backup disc, but rather from the hd. I used xbcopy0025 to get it into my hd. So no one figured out what triggers this message of a federal warning?

I didn't want to rip mine off the disc (don't have a network cord), so I just downloaded an ISO I found...
had NO problems with it.. loads quickly, I've played it for many hours... works perfectly.. I believe it was a px-release as well... I burned with the default recordnow settings on Ritek Silver Tops... with an A05..

No, it's nothing to do with the mod. I have an Enigmah final with no problems. You guys have already tried disabling EvoX's IGR, right? If you haven't, I'm sure it will solve your problem. The only people posting with problems are those booting from the hard drive.
