Purple Problem After Hotgluing Vga Cable
« on: October 09, 2005, 06:37:00 PM »

I got the thing soldered up all nice and got the ind vga bios in my duoX2, tested it out and it gave me the "loading ind-bios" screen, then garbled junk.  I couldn't get any of the blind 480p methods to work, so i switched bios's and booted my normal setup through s-vid and switched my dash to xbmc (renamed to xboxdash.xbe in root of C:) and it worked great no green wash, no purple wash, so, i played some games for a little bit and decided it was time to glue this thing all up.

Well after I carfully glued the wires on the avip, slid it into the housing closed it up, glued the living shit out of the vga connector and got it all assembled as just a 1 piece plug, I hooked it up and now bam I get purple wash from the getgo with the "loading ind-bios screen" and it's still purple through xbmc and playing games.

Since it worked before I glued it up, and now it doesn't I was wondering if anybody might know what I have shorted-out or disconnected when assembling.
