1.6b With No Video

I have a 1.6b that was modded a softmod with MA game hack.  The dashboard was Avalaunch 0484.  The box worked fine for about three days and I was looking around in the Avalaunch main options and I don't remember changing anything.  But when I went back later to play the box I had no video and just sound.  I use the video switcher program to change it back to NTSC.  It worked but the picture still looked dark and hazy.  So is there any other help for this box or do I need to buy a new motherboard and hdd for it?  Any help is appreciated, thanks.
