Replacing Xbox Dvd With Cdrom Problems
« on: January 21, 2004, 01:23:00 PM »

I'm trying to load Slayer and my Philips drive will not read any of the various DVD's and CD-RWs I have burned, so I tried connecting a pc cd-rom drive and had the same problem you did.  However, I later tried connecting a different pc CD-ROM drive and was successful.  I've now tried 5 drives, 3 work, 2 don't.  It seems you may have a CD-ROM drive that is in the doesn't work category - try another if you have one (or can borrow one)

I think you need to disable DVD hack or Eject fix or something like that.
