Okay ive done the pot tweak on my phillips drive.
Ive messed with it alot so that now it is at the lowest possible adjustment it could be to read my dvd+rw/r's.  However, I live in constant paranoia that the drive is gonna go out.  
Are their any early symptoms of this so that i can catch it before it happens and keep my drive from burning up?
I had one game lock up on me for the first time today and Im praying that this isnt a sign of my drive goin out.  
any input?
