1) Your xbox is probably looking for the ms dashboard xbe file under a different name. Figure out what filename your bios is trying to launch and change the ms dashboard xbe to that.

2) Get xbox sountrack editor. The music has to be wma.

3) It's not just plug and play, and I'm pretty sure not just any pc dvd drive will work.

the dvd drive will work as long as its any xbox dvd drive. Whats wrong with yours?? Dirty disc error?? I can fix with a new lazer. The xbox soundtrack editor will send it to the correct place where your wanting to put the songs. They just have to be .wma

im guessing when you opened your box you didnt line up your dvd drive correctly or didnt tighten the screws for the dvd drive very tight.

Backup your tdata and udata on your cpu. Download AutoInstallarDelux3.0 AID3.0 from the usal places make the cd pop it in your cd drive then you will have the option to install a stock dash. Erase your whole c drive first then replace it with the one off of the AID3.0 disc. Then try not to mastrubate .....
