So it will change to ntsc/pal on the fly without needing a reboot?

I've found it to be a bit weird with regions from my experience. It does not report the correct region my console is in currently.

The game will control (or now the dash) how it will change the region. If you have a PAL xbox and will be running a PAL game, then, there's no need to change. The option will change depending on the game, say, you have an NTSC game, then you have the option to launch it in PAL, or vice versa. Mix region will have both, giving you the option to run it in either PAL or NTSC.

Once you switched mode, your console with report the new mode until you reboot it, or play another game.

unleashx,

actually I don't know if that code you just put above works for toplevel games, but this is what you gave me a few wks ago when I asked smile.gif

CODE

 On
    D:\Games
      Off

 File Explorer
 Reboot Xbox
 Shutdown Xbox

thats the way I have it set in every unleashx mgdvd I make
I just have a folder setup ready with everything, and when I want a new mgdvd i just drag my games into the premade games folder and use craxtion to to create the iso.

everythings worked flawlessly so far. smile.gif

oh yeah, that savesgames manager looks awesome. I dont even use the msdash to rip music, so without having to go back there for savegames again, I guess Id never use it again smile.gif

Awesome... Game Save manager is basically the only thing I use the MS Dashboard for anymore... and this will cure that... You are the coolest...  Now Install Disc can be much smaller without the need to inlcude the MS dash on them...

Thank you for everything unleashx... I want to make a donation to you... but I don't know how...  I'd love to get you that hdtv to vga cable that you need, but I don't know how to get it to you... Also.. not for sure where to buy them...

absolutely the best dash for me atm!  i'm also very glad i switched from mxm.  i hope that does not offend our bretheren or benjeremy.  this dash will soon do everything i ever wanted mxm to do and behave the way i always wanted mxm to behave...without scripting!

i'm really looking forward to the future releases of this dash.  thanks for your efforts and good work!

EDIT: just saw bm's post b4 mine...if i can help anyway with that or anything else, i'd like to as well...

That looks awesome. I am so glad that i switched to this dash.

How does one become a beta tester for this?

You pray every night that one day you'll get a PM. Then one day, you will.

LOL, I don't know man, I'm sure it's got a lot to do with if you're a skinner or a good beta-test-kind-of-person. You know, lots of bug reports and the like.

Yeah true. Testing code all day at work is probably enough for me anyways.

Cant wait for the new stuff, it looks great.

If you do the following in your config.xml

<List Text="DVD Menu" Sort="On" Auto="Off">
    <Path>D:\</Path>
</List>

You can put in your multigame disc and ues the refresh option when you press the start on the DVD Menu and it will go and retrieve the games/apps and put them in nice normal dashboard list.

If you want to make a donation, I would recommend getting unleashx's email address, if he has a paypal account, find a good website that has the equipment he wants, send him a paypal payment for the amount of the item and shipping, and the direct link where he can purchase it for that specific amout.   If he has a paypal account that is.
