Is it possible to add a video overlay onto the background?

Yes you can have a video as your background. In the skin.xml file you just replace the "background.png" or whatever it's called with "background.xmv" or "background.wmv" whichever you're using. It's that simple. Check out the Unleashx Video Skin Creator on allxboxskins.com. It's a nice little utility to start out with.

no what i mean is if it's possible to have a background image and then put a small video window on top of the background image.

Koldfusion, that intro is rocking, may I just suggest that you change the font in "Unleash" to something a little more sci-fi or streamlined?  It's a bit jarring to go from the cool computer effect to a handwriting type of font.

that video would make a great GAMES TV SHOW INTRO, but is too long for an intro of the dash , i think more like 5-10 second video intro is good.

Hey guys I made some decent looking intros for UX, prob is I got nowhere to u/l 'em to...does anyone wanna host 'em for download? There's 3 of them, a space tunnel, a firey one and a white cloud vortex type thingy... 640*480 res, WMV8, <>1.3mb each, 5 seconds long. Any takers?

but some of the movies have the word UnleashX as part of the video although both dashes will play the movie it sounds kinda strange haveing a UX intro on MXM, Maybe make a movies section then brake it down into sub sections MXM, UX, common or something
