Taken from the readme file from this release....

"At the moment, there’s not much feature but I plan to keep an adding more as I go about it. Here are some features I’m planning to include but not limited to:

1)   FTP client for your xbox to xbox transfer needs.
2)   Video Support (WMV and XMV only). This is purely for skinners delight. It’s not my plan to make UnleashX a full featured multimedia player. We already have those and they work so well.
3)   Text Editor.
4)   SMTP (outgoing mail client) so you can send email right from your xbox. (Though it’s gonna be a pain in the *** with just the virtual keyboard)
5)   More in-box settings. Xbe renaming, either temporary (via cache) or permanent (xbe). Adding/modifying password for all menu items is also being planned.
6)   Game save manager
7)   Custom soundtrack support.
8)   And a lot more…"

No. This is the QuickCopyDVD. What it does is that it get's the name from the current title, determines your biggest partition and dumps the content there under the Games folder. If you want to control the location, use File Manager and select the Copy Disk option there. Don't forget to patch the xbe afterwards. After its finished copying, select default.xbe, hit start, then XBE File Patch.

This is the only forum on XS that I've read EVERY post... I'm thinking that I might be able to keep up while there are only a few hundred people using the new dash  :-)

I'm mostly amazed by the fact this release came so quickly! That shows great coding in the fact that you can fix bugs without having to modify a bunch of worm code... keep the quality high!!

Also - If I'm not mistaken you have fixed some bugs that have never been mentioned... maybe privately, but I don't remember some of these fixes ever reported!  totally cool!

Great work, By far my favorite dash....

I found one possible bug....

<Games AutoLaunch="Yes" />   <----  typo??
<DVD AutoLaunch="Yes">F:AppsDVDX2default.xbe</DVD>
<AudioCD AutoLaunch="Yes">C:xboxdash.xbe</AudioCD>
<Data AutoLaunch="Yes"></Data>

and these don't seem to save properly... keep defaulting back to "yes"

No, it's not a typo.

<Games AutoLaunch="Yes" /> and <Games AutoLaunch="Yes"></Games> has the same meaning as far as xml is concerned.

I'll look into it why it's not saving.

Just so you know, you can hold any of the trigger buttons while inserting a disk to suppress auto loading, exactly like the Shift key in Windows.

hi there, for some reason i cant change tracks playing in the background of the dash that have been ripped with the M$ dash,in the last release it was push right on the D-Pad and it would goto the next track, now that dun do it in this release, has the button been moved or was it removed or is it ment to change the track but its not???....

-another prob i have is when i set to auto launch games in the settings to No(or yes)and save it and reboot it seems to not save the change ,i have to edit the config.xml for it to let me change it frm yes to no,the dash reports it changed it and needs to reboot but when u reboot it doesnt save the change,ne thoughts...

EDIT: never mind about changing the tracks,i found it,it was hold the white button and push left/righ on the D-Pad,but 1 thing i noticed is its extreamly fast,i push right and it skips to the last track cause it go's so fast,ne 1 to slow it down???
