The background was not transparent!
It's an effect with the cellwall.xbx...you can make a transparent cellwall.xbx,

Also you can try to change this option in Hexbe:
(the final result deppending of the original colour of your backgrounds)

Ah yes Kanaberra, been pointed to your site many a time, great work as well. I had your Tribute to Midnight Warlock as my skin for a long time. I hope to see some translated tuts from Guex. I've been there many times as well, trying to use goole, to translate some of the tuts. Tahnks for all your work guys. Keep it up.
