The Xbox Live dash is a completely different xbe and thus a seperate program.  It is not a tab.  It is an XBE launcher.  That is why Msdash hacks don't have FTP.  There is no way to multitask on the Xbox.  Thus you can't run the msdash xbe and some sort of FTP server at the same time.  Other dashes have FTP written into the app.  You clearly can't do that with Msdash.  End of stupid FTP thing(again).

Been looking at M$ dash patching ... and although it's never gonna have FTP I was wondering how good they can be ... do they have any dashboard "features" missing

for example, can any of them auto add games

'cos I really want neXgen ... but until it's released a hacked M$ one would be good (apart from FTP)

Don't see many in the "usual places" do they all have to be made by yours truly.

A link to an FAQ for this would be sweet
