Avalaunch + Xlinux = MS Dash ? :s

Recently my harddrive stopped working. When I turned on the xbox it would go to the "xecuter2" logo screen, then freeze at the avalaunch loading screen. So I decided to download Xlinux and mount my c partition of my harddrive . I then copied the newest avalaunch over to replace the old files, and it just goes from boot to the xecuter2 logo right to the MS dashboard? It should be going to the avalaunch dasboard (avalaunch.xbe or default.xbe).

This also does the same exact thing with the UnleashX dashboard sad.gif


Am I missing something here? Maybe permissions are wrong? Or I skipped a step?


I am using an xecuter 2.3b pro with 120gb HD
