Right. Avalaunch can't set the backlight. Just use the bios setup menu (SmartXX menu) to set the backlight options for now.

We will support backlight configuration in the future though.

The backlight settings in the smartxx os has no impact on the lcd in avalaunch (so it is totally black) ... so adjusting it in the smartxx os makes no difference whats so ever to the backlight in avalaunch.

But thanks for the info and i look fwd to being able to use the lcd in avalaunch
