I had a similar problem, it turns out I had x2_igr_disabled in my E drive which you have to delete for it to work, mine works with L+R+Start+Back on an S controller, but it may be different, hope that helps, big thanks to crayZEE for letting me know

Depends on the BIOS I belive, but ususally L + R + Start + Back works.

Left Trigger + Right Trigger + (Black) or (Back) or (Black + Back).

Try one of those combinations, one should work for you.

Usually, you do that with the MS dashboard actually.

But since you have replaced your hdd it will have to be locked (if it isn't already) for you to be able to go to the MS dash

Don't think thats true... it only has to be locked to play Live.. not just to run the MS Dash...
