0.48 Work Fine With Tsop Flash?

I was just wondering if .48 works fine with a flashed TSOP (on a v1.0 box).  I know it had issues with Bank 1 on X2 chips, but I've remedied that by booting off of Bank 2 on my box.  I want to make sure it's fine before upgrading my brother's from .47.4.  Anyone have any experience?
